I purchased Lady when she was a year old. She was the second Golden that we adopted into our family. We bought Lady for the intention of a companion for Rusty, and another baby for us, and not for breeding purpose.

She became Rusty's best buddy. They love to play together and the bonding between the two is incredible.After we brought Lady home, Rusty never wanted to leave home and go visiting again. She keeps him in line, and keeps him home. Lady is the only one of our Golden's that Rusty will really play with. Lady and Daisy are also very good buddies, they used to play together quiet a bit when Lady was younger , she doesn't play as much now though.

Lady is a woman's dog. She follows me around everywhere I go. When we first bought Lady, she was very shy of men. It's sad to say but my notion is she was either abused by a man, or was in an atmosphere where a man must have been abusive somehow. She has grown out of that stage now, but she's still partial to women and kids. 

Lady and Rusty have had some great babies together which I will place pictures of on her photo album page.

We Retired Lady several years ago, she was about 3 1/2  old, she was having too much trouble with the birthing process and we didn't want to put her through that so we had her spayed.The only downfall to that was that she gained alot of weight afterwards, we have her on a diet now, she's still doing well just getting older :)

Daisy still likes to chew and pull on her ears all the time.

She turned 7 in February 2004. We call her Grandma since she's the oldest :)
