Hello all!!

Venus is just wonderfull!!! We take a walk almost every evening, and my neighbor has

2 great, friendly dogs and the three of them play, and wrestle, almost daily. She is

just great with my children, and they are well not so great with her, they pull ears and

tug her tail. She just gives a tug back. they lay on her and she lays on them. We

are big fans of the crocodile hunter on animal planet, and well my son, Ethan, attacks

Venus as if she was a crocodile. its really comical. (Hell be 2 the 30 of august) I

think once she has her first cycle, then ill have her fixed. I would just love puppies,

but i just hate to put that stress on Venus. She's just beautiful, her color is perfect!!

I will definately send pictures, ive taken a ton of her and the kids, im just bad at

getting them developed. (sorry) ill make a special effort to get some to you this

month. Whats your thought on getting Venus fixed, timing etc.?? Thanks for a great

addition to my family!! love to your golden gang!!

Golden ~Female ~My name is " Roxie" Her Going Home Picture (Renee and Rusty's baby)

New Family is The Staat's

Just a note to let you know that Roxie and I made it home without a

hitch. She was a real trooper on the trip. We drove to Lebanon on Wednesday,

then,after Roxie's early morning (3:45!) wake-up call, we headed home. I

triedto jot you a note immediately on my return--unfortunately our modem went

down and has just now been repaired.

I took Roxie in to see our vet yesterday. She weighs 13.1 pounds and

was given a clean bill of health. Just so you'll know, my vet was very

impressed with your records, shots, and worming schedule--as well as

with Roxie, herself.

Warm wishes,

Roxi 6 Months Old

Roxi 7 Months Old

As For Roxanne what a piece of work she is! We have never had a Golden

with such a demonstrative personality. The energy level in our quiet

little house has gone up exponentially with our "little" addition. What a live

wire! For the first several months I kept asking myself, "Lord, what

have I done?" Now, I wouldn't have her any other way.

The first photo will be one of Rox in the bird bath at about six months old (and 63 pounds--she has

consistentlymanaged to gain about 10 pounds a month and has only begun slowing down

in the last several months). The second photo is of Roxanne in her

swimming pool at about seven months old. True to her heritage, it is nearly

impossible to keep her out of water, regardless of its origin. We took

Rox on her first road trip to the ocean in May, and you have never seen a

dog so excited to see so much water in one place! Her favorite thing to do is

to stand under the water hose and bite at the falling water--she does the

same to gutter spouts, faucets, and sprinklers. I have to keep a stack of

towels by the door so we can dry her off when she really submerses herself.

Roxie's best friend is a lab neighbor and her cousin, a German Shepard.

Roxie starts obedience school next week and is scheduled for pet therapy

training in February. She's smart as a whip and already knows

everything she will learn in class--but because she loves to be around other dogs

so much, she is easily distracted whenever another dog comes into sight.

I'm hoping that a group class will help her keep a bit more focused.

My best toyouand yours.

Warm wishes,

" Clancy"

Pictured The day he went home 7Weeks old (Renee and Rusty's baby)

The new family = The Bradley's

Hi Theresa,

Just wanted to let you know that Clancy is doing great. Glen and I took

turns holding him on the way back to Jefferson City. He did cry a

little but then calmed down. He had a great time Saturday and Sunday

running around my parent's house and being the center of attention.

Glen and Clancy have really bonded. You've done a great job socializing

the puppies--Clancy loves being held which is good because he gets

cuddled alot. Clancy seems to think our daughter is another puppy--he

like chasing her because he can catch her! She thinks its great fun.

On our way back to KC we stopped at the McDonalds in Sedalia. They have

a big grassy area behind the restaurant that we always used to exercise

Conor on trips. The two kids and Clancy chased each other non-stop all

over the field for a good 15 minutes. It was quite a sight.

We will send some pictures soon. We don't have a digital camera but we

do have a scanner. Thanks again for a great pet.

 Hi

Thought I'd give you an update on Clancy. He is really

growing! At the checkup last week he was 22 pounds. I've sent some

pictures but they are old already. I'll try to get some pictures of him

standing still so you can see how tall he is. He still likes to chew on

everything but he pretty much sticks to his toys and has mostly learned

not to use his teeth on people--sometimes he forgets. He is house trained

and even goes to the door when he needs to be let out. Of course he loves

to fetch. All and all a great dog.

6 Weeks 4 Days

Golden male ~ Name = Sir Denali ( Means "The Great One")  Renee and Rusty's baby

(This is the last picture taken before he went to his new home)

Woodstock Family also bought Sadie's Female puppy for a playmate.

Her name is Desi, (See Sadie's FamilyUpdate Pictures)

Desi and Denali (7 Weeks Old)

I got a couple cute picture last Sunday I thought you would enjoy. I snapped the first one, showed

Steve, and went back and they had switched!! They are doing well, getting use to their kennels, and

learning house breaking (as we all our). Thanks again for everything. We will be in touch.

Denali 2 Months

Theresa and George:

I thought I would send you two-month old pictures. They are so precious!! We took them to the vet

last Friday, and she said they look good. Denali had a small case of ear mites, but she treated both

pups for this and said it would take care of it. Denali is 13lb 9oz, and Desi is 9 lb 4 oz. Denali likes

the tile floor, and Desi likes to lay over the register (sometimes they even fight over who gets to lie

over the register, especially when the air conditioner is running!). They are learning sit, stay and lay

down. We are working on come, but they seem to have a hard time with this, especially Desi. She

is a pistol, and very strong willed. Denali is so loveable. He let's Desi knock him down, even though

he could stop her, he let's her. What a guy!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures.
