(She just had puppies, if you look real close by her
tail there is one that followed her there off the birthing mat, they were two
weeks old in this picture, she only had three males, BIG BOYS)
Sadie was 2 Years old on Feb.01,2001, when
we adopted her.
We
adopted her from a family who took great care of her. She likes to
run, and her former family wanted to see her with a place she could
run free, without the danger of getting in the road. They hated to
see her go, but at the same time made a " loving decision", to put
her with another loving family, so she would be safe. They will be
able to visit her, since they only live about 2 miles. Since Sadie 's
former family has children, she of course loves children.
She's having fun with her new family,
especially the ones that look like her. She is very affectionate
(typical Golden), loves to play ball with the rest of the competition).
Her and Darlin had fun playing tug-of-war
with the rope, the stick or whatever other good toys they can find when she
first came to be with us.
Now she has has taken up with Darlin's girls Puddin'
and Dumplin, and loves to play with them, actually she taught, Sugar, Dumplin,
Jacob, Puddin how to really play :)
Sadie's quiet the little Lady. I get tickled
when she lays down, she almost always crosses her front
legs.
Sadie caught on quick to the fun and love
here at Golden Acres. We are so happy with her. She will walk right
by your side and stay there .
Sadie has been very good Mother
too. She loves all babies, even if they are not hers.
